Equipment Pre-Starts

  • Pre-starts are designed to be completed without back tracking. Start your prestart at the front of the vehicle, check the engine and fluid, then move to the passenger side of the vehicle and across the back checking toolboxes, ladder racks, trailer and tiedowns. Once the outside is completed hop in the cab and complete the checklist.
  • Keeping your fleet safe and reliable can be a big job, by making a prestart mandatory it allows your staff to tell you when there is an issue with equipment as soon as they notice, or at the very least the next day before that vehicle leaves the yard.
